Yelp reviews that break the rules, handled properly
Report and remove Yelp content that breaks the platform's rules or the law, with evidence and follow-through.
For many US businesses Yelp is as influential as Google. Businesses can report reviews that breach Yelp's Content Guidelines, such as reviews that are not first-hand experiences, conflicts of interest, harassment or privacy breaches. Yelp does not remove reviews in exchange for payment or advertising. We report what qualifies and help you respond well to the rest.
Who this is for

- Businesses facing false or abusive content on Yelp
- Anyone impersonated or exposed by a fake account
Who it is not for

How the work runs
- Eligibility reviewWe test each URL against the relevant law and platform policy before anything is filed.
- Evidence packWe build the submission: identity, context, dates, policy clauses and supporting documents.
- Submission and follow-upRequests are filed, tracked and chased. Refusals are appealed where grounds exist.
- FallbackWhere removal is refused or unavailable, we move the case to search repair.

What we cannot promise

Frequently asked questions
Can advertising on Yelp remove bad reviews?
No. Yelp states that advertising does not affect reviews.
Why were some of my positive reviews hidden?
Yelp's recommendation software filters reviews it considers less reliable. Asking customers to review you on Yelp can make this worse.
Is Yelp relevant in the UK?
Less so than in the US. We prioritise the platforms your customers use.
Will the person who posted it know it was me?
Platform reports are generally not shared with the poster, but some routes, such as copyright notices, can be. We explain this before filing.
Can you remove it from Google as well?
Yes. Once content is removed from the platform, we request removal of the outdated result from search.
Is my enquiry confidential?
Yes. You can make first contact without giving your name, we sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share case details, and case files are held in restricted, encrypted storage with access limited to your case team.
