Ethics: what we will not do
Our published acceptance policy. We turn work down when it fails these tests.
What we will not do
- Write, buy, commission or incentivise reviews, or post under false identities
- Create fake websites, fake news or sockpuppet accounts
- File false copyright claims or misuse legal processes to remove criticism
- Threaten or intimidate reviewers, journalists or critics
- Pay websites to remove content
- Create or edit Wikipedia articles for payment without disclosure
- Guarantee outcomes that depend on third parties
- Give legal advice
Who we will not act for
- Anyone seeking to suppress accurate reporting of serious wrongdoing that remains in the public interest
- Anyone seeking to identify, silence or retaliate against whistleblowers, victims or reviewers
- Persons subject to sanctions, or where we have concerns about the source of funds
- Anyone seeking to mislead regulators, courts, investors or consumers
What we do instead
- Use the published legal and platform routes, properly evidenced
- Build accurate, attributable content that deserves to rank
- Help businesses collect genuine reviews lawfully, in line with the DMCC Act 2024
- Screen every new client before we accept instructions
Why publish this? Reputation management is only trustworthy if it is honest. Publishing our limits is how we earn the trust we ask clients to place in us.
