How do I remove my personal information from Google?
Removal guide
The answer
Google lets you request removal of results showing your personal contact details, such as your phone number, email or home address, as well as identity documents, confidential records and doxxing content. You can submit requests through Google's personal information removal process. Removing the result from Google does not remove the source, so ask the website to delete it too, and opt out of people-search sites.
Step by step

- Ask the source siteUse its privacy contact or opt-out form.
- Request removal from GoogleUse Google's personal information removal request for each result.

When to get help. If you are at risk of harassment, or many sites hold your details, ongoing protection is more reliable than one-off requests. See Personal Data and People-Search Removal.
